We continue to support Lydia Walmsley, 16, on her way to becoming a professional racing driver
Posted on: January 16th 2019 • Posted in: RacingLydia Walmsley is not the average 16 year old teenage girl. She has a passion for motorsport and is pursuing her dream of becoming a professional racing driver. Whip Street is happy to sponsor her again for a second year.
Lydia first got the bug for motorsport when she jumped into a kart at Buckmore Park at seven years of age. From that day forward, she took to karting like a duck to water and began racing at local track Anglia Indoor kart centre in 2011. In her first year of karting, she was runner up on the Corporate Cadet points championship being beaten by only one point.
